Two letters from the magician Howard Thurston to Mrs. Anne L. Taylor of Philadelphia. One is dated 23 January 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio; the second is dated 31 January 1930 in Akron, Ohio. Mrs. Taylor has sent Thurston a copy of a book to autograph; he has done so and returned to book to her. One of the letters includes a "good luck" card featuring pictures of Thurston and his daughter, Jane. The book in question is probably Thurston's My Life of Magic (Philadelphia: Dorrance and Company, c1929).
